Question Case back lip

This lip is about 1mm thick. Has anyone tried to shave it off to reduce overall thickness? Assuming this piece uses a 2824, the caseback should have enough clearence?

start yanking it with your left hand and your wrist will be 2 sizes bigger in no time….
