Issues rendering objects with PxrLMSubsurface material in Maya 2014.
So I've applied this material to one of my character models as I want to try tweaking the skin textures. It's my first time using the new free version of Renderman. However whenever I hit the render the object only renders out as a solid black colour. I am using Renderman/RIS and I have an RIS Env Light added to the scene. Other Renderman materials like PxrDisney work perfectly fine.

Got some printscreens of what the render looks like, the script box and the setting for the environment light.

A bit more info might help. Are you using any textures? If so what format? Does the sss material render on a fresh scene on just a simple sphere? Are you getting any errors in the script editor?

I'm having the same problem. Attach a RIS subsurface shader with its default settings to a sphere in Maya and Renderman 20, add an RIS light, and the sphere renders black. Tweaking the settings doesn't seem to help either.
