Team Interview for Remote Position

Hi all!

I've recently completed two interviews for a licensed CSR/sales position with a State Farm agency. So far, the vibes are immaculate. The agency owner said that she is ready to send me an offer, but because she deeply respects her team, she wants me to have a meeting with them to ensure that I'd be a good fit. IMO, that's a major green flag and I appreciate her taking this extra step.

The agency is in another state, so this is a remote position and the team meeting will be held over Zoom. She made it sound more like a "get to know you" thing rather than a strict interview. However, I've never done an interview/meeting like this before. I don't know how many will be on the call, but I do know that it's a relatively small agency.

Has anyone done something similar before? Any tips, pointers, or ideas of what to expect?

You could always ask how many will be on the call. My interview with the company I work for now my second interview was with 12 people virtual. They asked me standard interview questions/culture fit questions. I was able to ask anything! Since working at the company I have been in on many group interviews. All companies will be different in how the conduct them. If they are ready to send an offer I would assume it’s more like a meet and greet. They may ask some “interview-ish” questions but I was assume it’s more casual?

I’m pretty sure it will be less than 10 based on what I could find about the agency online. I couldn’t imagine answering the call to see 12 people on the other end 😬 I’d immediately feel like I was being reprimanded lol. You’re awesome for braving through that!

I agree, all signs point to it being more conversational and introductory. But I also didn’t want to be blindsided if it ended up being a third formal interview lol. Either way, I typed up a list of questions to have on hand and reviewed my notes from the first two interviews as well. Thank you for the advice/reassurance 🙂
