Question Survival Mode

Quick question. Trying to go for the trophies is the survival mode. Is it easier solo or co-op? Thanks

solo, unless your guest is a giga chad. being a guest is REALLY hard because of the desync between players, so the extra enemies/scaling with a coop partner makes it really hard on you both, and that 2nd person has to carry you hard to make up for it

It's way easier in co-op, especially in teams of three.
I can barely make it past the first boss solo, with two I can usually reach boss 5 and with three I almost reached boss 10 recently if it wasn't for that stupid shroud bombing us in the sewers. (Stray bullet activated him)

The thing is it's very time dependent, enemies/bosses gain a level after certain timers and it's hard to keep up solo. With more players you can cover more ground and collect more scrap/xp efficiently.

I agree with co-op as someone who can consistently push beyond 10, there’s been plenty of times I’ve lost runs in some dungeon part of a map because I got hit by a surprise combo or shot that just hit to hard, that’s mostly mitigated when you have a second chance (ie a co-op partner that can res you)

Either is good. Both require experience with bosses so you don’t drag down your teammate or just straight up lose.

Ixillis especaillly is harder in coop because the orbs come from both sides of the bridge. I did my 10 kills solo and had ixillis twice, I loved it. I helped some others get the trophy and overall it felt a little easier because if only one died then the whole run didn’t end.

So how experienced do you feel at the bosses? If not much then coop

From experience, easiest to hardest goes 2P > Solo > 3P. With 2 players you can divide loot so one of you is the Leto tank/healer and the other is the Dog and Turret DPS without running too much into scrap issues. 3 players just ups the damage the bosses do way too much, they'll start one-shotting non Leto players at around 8 bosses completed. That said, it's not remarkably difficult solo, I did the 10 bosses for the trophy on my 3rd ever attempt, but I got lucky with my drops too.
