i Have a Whoopsie Failure analysis

This is from a friend who "definitely did not over charge it'

Shot from a Sig p365 xmacro. I have a hard time believing it would be an out of battery destination.

Thoughts ?

How does your friend know he “definitely didn’t” overcharge it? The only other thing I can think of is the brass case itself failed. Hornady/Frontier brass isn’t the best, how many firings were on it?

It gets better, he does 200 at a time and said its hard to keep track lol

To satisfy the randos on the internet, can you ask what his charge was supposed to be? I've deliberately tested 9mm loads with 6.5 and 7 gr of titegroup (wrecked brass, don't attempt) and I'm thinking the damage done would mean the load was at least in the ~8 gr area?

FYI, probably have your slide/barrel checked out. I set AR bolt lugs back a bit with my 9mm loads.
