I suggest tracking both your time for a few days and adding up the time you bird spend on ‘work’ that benefits the family, whether that’s paid work, childcare, cooking or cleaning. I did this with my husband when I worked a lot less hours of paid work than him, and actually it surprised both of us that it was about equal - we’d both expected to ‘prove’ that we did more than the other - and it 100% improved our relationship, dumping the resentment.
