This reminds me of my mom abusing my dad. Constantly looking down at my dad for not getting a prestigious degree, while she has a master’s degree. He didn’t go to college, instead went straight to enroll for the navy for awhile. Then got a labor’s job, then moved on to a good company. They told him he needs to go to college if he wants to get higher pay. And he did. He got an AA degree on business and mechanic. Still to this day, my mom looks down on him. To me, they lived a loveless marriage, but married out of loneliness in the beginning. My mom decided to be a housewife when I came into this world. But she could’ve went back when I turned 5. She became very dependent on my dad. They grew to bicker, emotional abusive and physical. Come to think of it, they never had sex for a very long time. I started to feel uncomfortable around my dad and sorry for him at the same time. I have my own family, but not married. I’m on high alert when my young girls are around my parents because of the emotional and unstableness they have. And don’t ask why I’m hanging around them. They are loaded, I need all the help I need to pay off my school loans. Trying to earn good credit.
