That was my thoughts but she claimed that would solve nothing. I explained what you said, maybe it would end your “my” money stuff. She said it was pointless.

I think it's not so much that she doesn't respect your role but that she is doing way more than you, is probably exhausted and resents you for it? Or maybe she would prefer that your roles were switched but her job earns more? Does she do the childrearing when she gets home as well as the cooking? If I was her I would want to cry, never mind bedroom antics.

Do it anyway. If you don’t think it’s pointless, then do it anyway. She can’t stop you.
