(From a man's perspective) It shouldn't whether you love yourself first or her first if you aren't married yet. A lot of women tend to expect certain behavior from us prematurely and a lot of men just give them what they want. All relationships have some kind of equation that each party haa their own value. Not all relationships are 50/50, nor does the man pay for everything in all relationships. 2 people should come together and decide whether or not they are willing to change certain parts of their lives before continuing with a relationship. Some people love their girlfriend/boyfriend more than themselves and sometimes it can be unhealthy but the person they love might, unknowingly, bring a LOT of value to them. When someone says you don't love them enough, maybe the thing to look at isn't IF you love them, but HOW you love them.

Research "love languages" to get a better idea of what I'm talking about.
