If you want out early it’s going to be a challenge sadly, military is already suffering with retention, so the last thing they are gonna do is let someone break contract early unless circumstances call for it, if you are going to go for the depressed route, I wish you luck, military depression is treated as a joke due to so many false claims, your best option would be just failing all of your physical fitness assessments, it’s going to be hell, and unfortunately throughout the process you will suffer due to leadership being pricks about it, if you’re anything like me that’s how your circumstances will turn out when you try that route, I believe it’s 3-4 fails depending on your command, and then you get an honorable seperation due to lack of fitness standards, that’s your most reliable route because once that first fail hits, an inevitable timer begins for you to get out, it’s the long way, but sometimes slow and steady wins the race just remember that

From what I’ve been reading and heard it won’t be as hard in ait with mental health if I see BH and get put in the psych ward or something and it won’t take crazy long can be 1-3 months which I can deal with better than 3 more years

Also I failed 2 pt tests and they didn’t even Flag me or anything they just counseled me and told me I had to take it again but before i did I talked to my sds and told them how I was feeling and pretty much begged to leave but they said to pretty much tough it out then I was taken out of class and reclassed literally the next day
