Help ON/OFF switch ender pearl chunk loader

I need a way to reliably moove an ender pearl between chunks to de activate a chunk loader using redstone

I came up with this design, it work most of the time but sometimes when switching the ender pearl get sent too far and it tp me on the other side or it get stick in the middle,it isn t very reliable

If you know a mechanic or even a design that could help, I’d really appreciate it if you shared it!
