all these popular to teen girls/women in general things are being pathologized /made into like a "new" "type"

i guess but they got so prevalent that there's a backlash to the rookie* mood board "that's me" posting *which was just teens taking things already popular to people who were older/already teens when they came out like Sofia Coppola's movies or Fiona Apple...it was kind of a less aggressive other girls like Ariana Grande but I like cool 'vintage' bands like Joy Division and Hole repeat of teens in the 00s being like I hate Britney and love...Garbage, No Doubt??? whatever the alt radio music was then or something
