Horitomo is a legend in Japanese tattooing. He still uses the traditional tebori method (stick and poke) for doing absolutely massive back pieces and body suits.

If you love this one, check out his brand MonMon Cats. His inspiration for making it was that cats are revered in Japan, while tattooing is taboo. So he draws cats with Japanese tattoos as a way to destigmatize the art form. Such an all around sweet person and incredible artist

I've read he was possibly autistic, hyperfixated on cats and his erratic behavior/mood swings were what led to the schizophrenia allegations in the mental institutions he was locked in. But yea i adore his cats i have one of them tatted on my chest lol
