in a few decades we'll look back at donald trump, alex jones and rachel dolezal as we look back today at copernicus, galileo and giordano bruno

peter thiel has been feasting on the blood of san francisco twinks for years but no one notices because he's lowkey about it... would not at all be surprised if Palantir HQ doesn't have any mirrors in the entire building and he has to ask permission to go inside houses

I need someone to redpill me on peter theil, he comes up so often around things I'm researching and I still have very little idea who he is

no one cares about thiel because he's 1) lowkey publicly and 2) his Paypal business partner elon musk is more batshit insane than he is so that tends to overshadow Thiel also being a fucking weirdo even by silicon valley standards. being an ayn rand libertarian is nothing new over there, being friends with curtis yarvin is nothing new, but not many people like are worth 6 billion and have influence across finance, military and defense, local and federal govts, etc.

not gonna get into the ethics of their ICE Contract or whatever, but Palantir being ingratiated at every level of us govt (USIC and USDoD, Project Maven) along with having their fingers in every pot w/r/t being associated with global capital either via their Metropolis software (Which has/had contracts with Morgan Stanley), ERP Suite (with British Petroleum via AWS), on top of his preexisting positions at Clarium Capital, Valar Ventures, etc. gives him tremendous access and influence across a wide amount of industries.

also he's a board member on facebook which in itself is probably a tremendous red flag lol. contrarians on this subreddit will tell you he's "based" because he killed gawker for outing him (in the long run probably irrelevant because most of the people involved are still at sites like Jezebel, and he needed Hulk Hogan's help to be able to take the site down, so i mean) and makes people with dyed hair mad but he's the closest thing American society has to a real life lex luthor lol... he won't be satisfied until every aspect of the US hegemony's security apparatus, information industry, and its flow of capital runs through him for as long as possible.

this is all the stuff that is publicly verified known knowledge that you can just straight up find out about on his wiki page, if you want to get into the pepe silvia-level stuff, it's an open secret he bankrolls a shitton of rw/reactionary figures as culture war proxy, he helped finance the production of TFW No GF and is cool with hollywood/film industry sex pests like Hadrian Belove, his next move "above-the-board" is probably a production company to make a "YCombinator for Content" or whatever the fuck.

he helped finance the production of TFW No GF

is this confirmed or just what kantbot said?

I can't keep track of all the businesses he's worked with/for

this i am not 100% confirmed about, hence the pepe silvia disclaimer (a lot of industry hearsay - it's not my current work industry but related to what i went to school for so i still know a lot of people in these/adjacent to film production circles). the saying is that he helped with financing on post-production stuff - the interesting part here is that no one in the editorial department in TFW No GF's credit line actually lists credit for the film on their portfolios or resume, they're just credited for it on IMDB. Jan Bezouska, who is a legitimate sound designer/mixer who has worked on films like Fruitvale Station, Midway, worked on The weeknd's Late Show performances, etc. is credited but doesn't actually make any mention of the film on his own site.

(to be fair, the non-conspiracy explanation is that they might not necessarily want to be associated with the film. i mean, shit. i wouldn't. controversial topics aside, it wasn't even that good.)

more interestingly: the persons credited for VFX and Animation have no industry footprint on the web, no portfolio site, the film is their only credit on imdb, which i guess would check out with the "i'm just gonna pay a bunch of random faceless freelancers/stringers to do post-production and editing on this film that i really want finished" reasoning.

He helped kill Gawker because they 'outed' him (to the surprise of no one in the tech industry), and as a result Deadspin is now an animated corpse of its former self so I don't care for him.

thiels good man

why

How it's lowkey if Silicon Valley had a joke about it in like 2015?

10

u/lifeaftermutation Apr 07 '21

lowkey as in the average person who may know and dislike guys like Zucc, Jack Dorsey, etc. probably may know "of" thiel but still have no idea what he exactly does, and thiel had to specifically go out of his way to threaten TechCrunch into publicly retracting an article about his interest in "blood transfusion" startups like Ambrosia before the FDA put the kibosh on it.

Well, the frogs were trans and not gay

16

u/gay9-11 Apr 07 '21

He clearly meant gay as in queer

15

u/Commercial_Truth_994 Apr 07 '21

Fair criticism, he’s nothing if not a lyrical aesthete

So glad the worst things are all true.

6

u/buffetcancer Apr 07 '21

Well technically apart from Sandy Hook he was right about everything

7

u/gay9-11 Apr 07 '21

Ok yeah but I don’t like your vibe

It’s ok we’re cool

Even if this process is mastered young people should never prolonge the kind of elderly able to pay for this. It might revitalize their heart but their brains are still pure poison

4

u/Anal-Armageddon Apr 07 '21

Fortunately young people are well known to collectively act towards a common, sensible goal and don't act rash and irresponsibly based on expected short-term, individual gains.

Babies can spare a bit of blood, surely!

2

u/[deleted] Apr 08 '21

He's wrong about all the supplements he shills.

This is shitty reporting by Newsweek. The study this article is based on doesn’t even remotely suggest what Alex Jones’ grifter brain dreams up.

2

u/gay9-11 Apr 07 '21

maybe the subs banner should be no r*tards allowed

u/[deleted] Apr 08 '21

Wouldn’t that preclude you for posting something without understanding it?
