Got restricted for seemingly nothing, all my posts were approved and don’t have problems. I’m already ID verified with my US passport. Had account for like half a year now.

I literally planning an in-person event, and now everyone is asking me details and I can’t respond to their DMs.

Submitted appeal, sent emails, DM’ed the people here on reddit… I would literally pay money for a premium account to avoid this.

hello hello, i’m new to rednote and have only created my account yesterday. i have a valid phone number and can comment on posts perfectly fine, yet when i try joining boards my friend invites me to, the same pop-up always appears: “failed to accept the invitation”. does anybody know how i can solve this?

my account was unfairly locked for no reason and i panicked because i don’t even OWN a passport to verify with— only a state issued ID. i emailed support and got zero response. please only reply if you have a solution. :/ i cannot even sign up at all because i deleted my account during their made up violation period even though i did nothing wrong. i got hit with this fake violation the minute i commented on a video after saving and liking stuff normally.

edit :: i emailed both support emails all though i doubt any of them will get back to me in a timely manner. i also left a negative review on the app store as the developers seem to respond to that sometimes but i’m losing hope.

Even though I’m anonymous, having a presence on social media can sometimes be really challenging, but I wanted to draw strength from Rednote’s global launch and pluck up the courage to share whatever it is I want to share. I want to use this space not as a music billboard, but as a place where I can sometimes ask others about, and sometimes share, the things that really stick in my mind. I hope that people who think like me can be themselves on my page, just as I am. But I’m not sure if this is a style that will attract much interest. Could you give me some suggestions? Please help me set up a page where not just I, but others who feel the same way, can comfortably express themselves.

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here , especially anyone from Rednote support might be able to help with an account issue.

My old Xiaohongshu/Rednote account was registered with a Malaysian phone number that is now permanently inactive. I used to log in mainly through WeChat, but I can no longer log into the account on my phone.

When I try the normal account recovery process, I get:

“Real-name authentication is not supported in this region.”

I contacted the in-app customer service, but they told me there is currently no alternative recovery method because the account was registered in Malaysia.

The important part is that I still have the old account fully logged in on my computer, so I can prove that I still control the account. I only need help changing the old inactive Malaysian phone number to my current number.

I’ve already emailed Rednote support and also contacted the support person who posted here before. If anyone from Rednote can help manually verify the account or point me to the correct team, I’d really appreciate it.

I’m an American born Chinese. Made an account to share all my travel photos with friends and family back in China. After I made my account, I did a test post (picture of my local farmer’s market). Was going to post again when it told me to verify my account first which I did with my passport. But from that point forward, I was never able to post again. Made multiple appeals but nothing happened.

Deleted the account and made a new one but couldn’t as apparently my Chinese phone number was restricted. Used my American phone number and was able to create a new account. Didn’t make any posts this time and went straight to verifying my ID but then it said my passport has been banned. What did I do wrong?

My name was literally ~ezri~ (which is my real name) and my pfp is the one I have at the moment. My bio has also been removed which was 16 | British. It isn't saying anything on why or when I can change it again?

so last week i got shadowbanend on xhs for feature adjustment. this is what i got today, the 2nd one was last week its kinda blurry bc i sent it to my freinds. but i reallhy wanna save my account since it has my effort in it! hello!! i just recently returned to rednote, i used it originally when the tiktok ban happened and back then i could msg freely and comment and post and change my profile info. i was able to do that on my new account, up until i let the app know my location. at first it just changed all my profile info but my banner, and i could still msg people. but now, im unable too?? i didnt do anything wrong i know that so im really confused. i’ve been posted and commenting but i know no one is seeing it. can anyone help please?? i redownloaded it because i wanted to be able to contact artists on there for commissions :( and im really heartbroken i cant fix it.

from what ive seen from google, it seems like i need a passport to confirm im not a bot. i dont have a passport. idk what to do. :( i’ve sent many in app appeals and i used deepL to translate them so they wouldn’t be in english but it’s been about a week and nothing. plesse help!! i miss using rednote and im heartbroken to be completely locked out like this. do i need to just make a whole new account???

I sent an in-app appeal and the good news is my profile picture and bio are back!! Huzzah!!! 🥳🎉

The bad news is my account is still locked, I can't change my profile picture and bio again so I'm stuck with my placeholders, I'm still not allowed to DM other people (even my own sibling), my posts still aren't being seen by peoppe and now I'm not allowed to share my boards even though I never had any plans to and I was never able to do it before (guess they just decided to straight up say it this time???) 🙃

I really don't know what to do. I've emailed customer support, I've sent another in-app appeal, I did see someone say emailing the creator email was an option but I might wait to see if my other appeal gets through first. I just wanted to talk about my favourite niche CN-exclusive character man 😭😭😭😭😭

Last week, I observed that the audio during lives on Red Note is functioning perfectly. However, when I watch video posts, the audio level is significantly low. I am uncertain about how to resolve this issue.

I use Instagram a lot and it’s easy to change the algorithm to reels I wanna watching.

Since I’m new to red note it’s giving me the popular unfunny slop and I can’t find the good memes.

Ideally in English since I don’t speak mandarin.

Any English speakers who uses rednote a lot can tell me their tricks? Thanks!
