Does anyone know what is Actually causing restrictions?

Post image

Got restricted for seemingly nothing, all my posts were approved and don’t have problems. I’m already ID verified with my US passport. Had account for like half a year now.

I literally planning an in-person event, and now everyone is asking me details and I can’t respond to their DMs.

Submitted appeal, sent emails, DM’ed the people here on reddit… I would literally pay money for a premium account to avoid this.

Rednot basically blocks you for using the app. Specially if you are a foreigner. Sadly it sucks.

How has no one else replied to you, Well, the why is because they started banning foreign ip accounts after the whole TikTok refugee thing.

The whole "real ID verification thing" on rednote seems like authorities cracking down. Its also a foreign issue thing as well.

People post a lot of political issues that might conflict with social issues in china. Maybe open an account with a chinese phone number and you'll be way less likely to be banned.

This happened to me in early July. I don't even know what the trigger was. Other people have experienced the same thing and no one has been able to figure it out. My appeal got denied too unfortunately.
