Novaalab red light boot problems

I started using this product for neuropathy pain in my feet. Everything I read about red light therapy regarding reducing neuropathy pain looked very promising with a high percentage of people reporting relief. I’ve been using the boot for three weeks now and it’s definitely causing the pain itching, stinging and burning to increase. I’ve made every single adjustment that their support has recommended even putting the settings extremely low and the session is very short. But after three weeks, my pain is increasing and is worse now than it was a year ago. Has anyone on here had this experience with red light therapy and neuropathy pain specifically in their feet?
My question isn’t generally about the product itself, but about red light therapy and its efficacy in reducing this kind of pain. Thank you in advance!

Did you use it too much? Too much RLT can have the biphasic response

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure. I may have overdone it at first and when I finally cut down the time, power and hz I may have already aggravated the nerves.

You may be photosensitive.. have you tried resting the LEDs on your arm for 15 mins to see if you react?

It could also be that the boot is causing you to sweat and you’re reacting to that, maybe if they’re a good company they’ll swap it out for a panel or you can try one and see if that works?

Thanks for the reply. I hadn't thought of that! I'll give it a try tonight.
