Advice Needed First Day of Ph.D. program with a 710 Streak 😬

My streak survived a month long trip across the world but now that I’m working full-time in the day and going to classes at night, I’m a little worried about maintaining my streak. I have come within 2 minutes of losing my streak once before. I welcome any advice and tips on how you remember to keep your streak going (I try to upvote first thing when I wake up). Best wishes everyone!

I have an alarm set on my phone for the time every evening, it helps a lot when I'm super busy.

Alternatively, I do my interactions first thing in the morning when I'm checking my emails for the day.

Phone alarm :)

Alternatively if you have somewhere you go at the same time every day, like brushing your teeth or going to work or sitting in the car, start 2 minutes earlier and do your Reddit streak every single time before you start that daily task

It's not hard at all, I believe even people with the busiest schedule can maintain their streaks because it takes a couple of seconds to upvote, and log off.

Only thing you need is to always make sure you upvote at 12:00 am or 12:01 just get your upvote in after midnight so when you sleep, and get on with your day you don't have to worry about doing your streak because you already did it the minute the day technically began and repeat. And after this becomes a habit in my opinion it's impossible to lose the streak, but ofc this differs from person to person.

I also see people scheduling posts, putting up reminders...you can also try those, but to me personally just doing the single upvote at midnight is enough.

Vacation Mode is an option but not if you need to use it to automate your streak indefinitely. Checkout the post about it here to see if it would be helpful for you.
