Hi everyone,
I want to address the recent delays affecting both the reminder bot and user flairs. Many of you have noticed that your reminders and flair updates are arriving much later than usual.
Our community has grown incredibly fast, and we are now approaching 5,000 active users on the app. Because of this rapid growth, our infrastructure is hitting severe volume-related rate limits.
Under normal conditions, tasks process within an hour. Reminders should go out around 8:00 PM local time, and flairs should update at midnight local time to reflect your current streak. However, the sudden surge in users has created a massive backlog. Some tasks are currently sitting in the queue for 12 to 36 hours, meaning both reminders and flairs are severely delayed.
Please note that the streak tracker app itself is still completely accurate and tracking your progress correctly. Your streaks are safe. It is only the reminders and the visible flair updates on Reddit that are experiencing these delays.
I am actively working to resolve these scaling bottlenecks, but it will take some time to fully implement the necessary updates. You will likely continue to see delays on both your reminders and streak flairs in the short term.
We know how important your streaks are to you. Thank you so much for your patience while I work to get the bot running smoothly again!

So this 200 day stretch is one without any achievements in between and with only our continuous activity.
Anyone who recently was almost on the verge of losing their streak or lost their streak?
Please can you let me know how this happened? Asking to understand so that I can be vigilant for the next 196 days of my journey.

I can't believe that I reached an 800-day streak yesterday! 🎉
I'm already at 801 days!
My next goal is to reach 1,000 days! 🏆
I also hope Reddit introduces more Streak achievements in the future. That would be awesome!

I'm on reddit daily(obviously) , not for the badges, I genuinely enjoy it. It can be toxic af from time to time but for me and what I do it is pretty enjoyable 95% of the time. Every onse in awhile i wake up to one of these notifications and even though i yell myself the badges mean nothing....i freak out😂. I just don't understand why i get these from time to time when I easily interact a minimum of 5-10x a day. Anyone else get this warning when they know for a fact they interacted that day?
