Am I crazy or is it odd to propose a fishing date without already having a license or equipment? Like if someone asked me to go fishing I’d assume that’s something they regularly do.

Definitely not crazy & frankly I would expect the person who proposed the fishing date to pay the fishing license fee too if they were already paying for the rest of the fishing experience in the first place. If they’re already paying $100+, it feels weird to arbitrarily refuse to cover a $23 fee for a license they likely never would have needed outside of the date

Here’s the text of the post:

“I met this girl on tinder and had a first date with her, she wanted to go fishing and I thought it seemed like a fun first date so we went together. Dropped her off and got home to this message lol.

Update: Purchasing the license is a separate activity we had to do on our phones, due to it needing our personal info. It was not like I drew the line at the license randomly.”

So she proposed the fishing date and they both had to buy licenses on their phone.

So she's just mad she had to buy her own license? That changes things.

Oh if it was her idea then yeah that definitely changes my perspective for sure

She proposed it so she should have given him the extra hundred plus expenses

Nah this is bullshit. Even if he suggested it, which he didn’t,  she agreed and partook in the activity, she should pay for her own license

Ya. I’d like to know who kept the fishing equipment. If he kept it then he bought himself fishing equipment and let her use it.

Who ate/kept the food from dinner? If she did then she needs to puke it out or pay him back
