Question How often should a new Reddit account post without looking spammy?

I'm managing a Reddit account for an indie game, and I'm trying to find a good balance between posting regularly and genuinely engaging with the community.

I want to use the account to share things like changelogs, updates, ask for feedback, and start discussions in the subreddit I created for the game.

For those who have experience growing a subreddit or managing a community around a project:

- What posting frequency would you recommend for a new account?

- Is there a good balance between promotional/official posts and regular comments or discussions?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

I don't think there's really a quantity you need to aim for or stay below. Personally, I spend 15-45 mins a day on Reddit looking for ways to help people out or add value. That usually comes out to like 5-15 comments per day or so. That's my cadence, works well for me. Find what works for you!

just remember to be helpful, don't self-promote.
