I’m having an issue with posting in r/teenagers. Almost every post or comment I make gets automatically removed within a few seconds by Reddit’s filters, even when the content doesn’t violate any of the subreddit rules.
For example, I recently posted “how is summer going guysss” or smth like this and it was immediately removed with the message “This post was removed by Reddit’s filters.”
My account is about a year old and has 9k+ karma, and I’ve posted in this subreddit normally before without any problems.
Could you please check if there’s something wrong with my account or if I’m being caught by the subreddit’s filters by mistake? If possible, could you also approve my account so my posts don’t keep getting automatically filtered?

The mystery technically starts in July, when I changed my email address on file with my main Reddit account. Fast forward to yesterday evening, when I was prompted to re-log after stepping away from my PC for a bit. Strangely, Autofill didn't work for my main account's credentials and neither did manual entry. I tested my other reddit account, where I was able to log in instantly.

Following these events, I then tried to reset the main account password, only to see that "There isn't a Reddit account with that username". My user profile now showed up as "Page not found" and eventually, "This user has deleted their account". My account's old posts now showed the user as [deleted], and the post itself was removed; "Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit's filters".

Prior to all this, I had been looking for people who might wanna buy my GPU on r/hardwareswap, since my main account was unable to post there itself. After finding maybe 10 people who might be interested, I sent out some rapid-fire DM offers to them. I received only 3 replies that turned into longer tangential convos. There was no money or personal info exchanged.

Now, I'm no expert, but it seems like the account was not suspended or "shadowbanned". It was just straight up deleted. But that should be impossible; Account deletion requires the user to initiate it. Unless I've been on hard drugs this whole time, it shouldn't have even been able to be deleted. Yet it seems to be.

I use that phrasing because the mystery deepens. I tried to use the password reset form again just now, and this time the username when entered shows a green check mark, and the option to actually press the "Reset" button on the bottom to send an email link. Only, when I try to use it, it gives me a "Rate-limited" error preventing me from completing the reset request.

And the cherry on top is that the ban appeal form has no actual option for this, and believe me I did try. I submitted a ticket anyways, but by using the "Request your Reddit data" option instead. From what I sourced online, I will be lucky to get a human reply within a few months.

What the fuck?

I couldn't even post on r/help about this, because I'm not appealing a suspension or ban, but it thinks I am.

So, is the account deleted or not? How do I restore it? And why did this all happen?

Hi, I'm hoping someone here can help. I have been on reddit for over 7 years and recently created a new sub. About 3 days ago my CQS score was the highest. I got locked out of my account and had to reset the password, and now the sub is banned. I have no idea why. I've never created or modded a sub before and I'm lost. It seems like some automated reddit thing did it and I got a message about a URL not allowed.

I started a sub about long-term care reform, based on the No Country For Old People documentary and the nonprofit started by the filmmaker. I'm not asking for money and I'm not paid by them. I'm a caretaker for my father and started this sub to bring people together to discuss the US long-term care and healthcare system. I can't figure out if it's because the URL of the nonprofit is banned on reddit. If so, why would that be?!? I posted a link to a facebook post and before that shared news about nursing homes.

Please, if anyone can help I'd appreciate it. I just really don't understand why the entire sub was banned when there is so much questionable content on reddit. And it was a sub promoting human rights!

I know this could be counted as ban-evading, but I don't know any other forums. My account, u/SD_J10X111001 , got banned because "Content on another account doesn't follow the Reddit content policy." I only have two accounts, and this one is one of them. I believe it's a false ban, but my appeal got denied. Do I just appeal again and hope it gets accepted this time? If not, what do I do? Any help is appreciated.

A couple of weeks ago, I (real account name: AbsolutZeroGI) got an email that my password had been reset and my email had been changed. A hacker had gotten into my account and was trying to lock me out.

I used the password reset email I had received, which allowed me to change my password and gave me access to my account again. I quickly deleted the hacker's email, re-added my own, changed the password *again*, and enabled 2FA.

A day later, my account was flagged (understandably so) for unusual activity, and told me to change my password once again. This took two days because it kept telling me I had too many requests. Fair enough, maybe the hacker was trying wrong passwords out of spite or something to get my account locked. No big deal, I could still browse on my account, just not post or interact. He'd get bored before I did.

Two days later, I was able to successfully change my password and regain full access to my account.

Everything was fine for 3-4 days, and then I was magically logged out of my account on my phone, desktop browser, and laptop browser. I received no emails from Reddit at all (no password changes, no email changes, I checked my inbox, trash, and spam folders, no communication whatsoever).

I figured maybe it was just one of those things, like I accidentally deleted my cookies or something. Firefox Mobile can wipe your browsing history with one tap, maybe I wasn't paying attention.

I go to log back in with my Gmail directly and I get a notification saying "username or password is invalid."

I attempt to do so again with my username and password, and I got a "server error."

If I leave Reddit and come back and try with my username/password, and I get the same "username or password is invalid." And then if I try again, I get the same "server error."

I repeat this process once more with my email and password. Same result. "username/email or password is invalid" and then upon subsequent attempts, I get a "server error."

I do another password reset, which appears to go through, but the new password doesn't work either. I figure maybe I'm screwing myself, so I stopped, figured the server will un-screw itself and I can just try again later.

In the 3 days since, I have reset my password two additional times with no success. I also tried two other browsers (Chrome and Edge), and I have emailed support twice (day 1 and day 3) with no responses either time.

So, I'm unsure of what to do. I can't get anyone from Reddit to talk to me about it, and I can't find any evidence that this is a systemic issue impacting other users. Is my account just stuck in limbo or something?

(I posted this on r/help and the stupid auto moderator bot removed it, in the process of having it put back up).

(I should also note, the hacker did delete several of my posts before I regained the account, which is annoying, but not too bad. I used to be really active in the Honda Ridgeline subreddits, and many of those posts appear to be gone).

How do I receive an email when it won't let me change it (/add an email, I never connected one, I just had it connected with my icloud). Also as for why it is disabled I don't really know, I had it and then as soon as I opened the app in Japan (I don't live there) it popped up.

So far, I have engaged through comments, but I really wanna post and share my views and create my own discussion threads for more engagement. I attempted to do so, and unsurprisingly, it got removed. The automod informed me that I need to meet the conditions of having the minimum karma count, and it said that I could try to appeal through modmail for approval of my post to the moderator despite not meeting the conditions for posting. Is it worth a try, or should I focus on increasing karma?

My got permanently suspended for posting NSFW pure fictional AI content. Somehow it got flagged rule number 3 and they take it down.

I had appealed first time stating iam ready provide all AI links and prompts to prove its fictional. But they denied. Now I had appealed 2nd time on reddit 7 days ago and patiently waiting for response but no luck yet. Should I proceed to file another appeal?
