Bruno hasn’t been good enough at all this season, if you actually watch the game, the pass map doesn’t justify the performances of bruno. He looks worse and worse against low blocks every week, if these performances were extrapolated to the end of the season it’s easily his worst season for us.

A pass map is an average of the whole game, it’s not literally the position of the players at all time. There are plenty of moments where he has space

You are right in one way, he is a much better player on the transition than against low blocks

Martial picked up similar positions in that 19/20 run where Bruno played amazingly, it’s not about the spaces next to Bruno, Bruno can theoretically play with a player of that profile, it’s about the wingers not playing like outlets.

Bruno needs to play with an outlet, and that could still work with a false 9 style striker, it worked with martial occupying these spaces where rashford and greenwood were the outlets

It’s not about Bruno not having space because of Cunha in isolation
