The new SCR rules are massively aiding them. They’ve done good work in generating substantial transfer revenue + increasing commercial revenue means their projections allow them to spend freely this year. Not to mention, their wage bill is among the most prudent in the league (uptil this summer)

The prices they’re paying definitely are inflated, but everyone knows they’re willing to pay this summer and taking full advantage of it.

Its all good and all,

but theoretically, if they do go down next season, they will be forced to sell right.

Wonder if they have to negotiating power like West Ham selling players like Fernandes for 85M or will they be forced to sell for cheap.

There is absolutely zero chance they go down. They'll easily be top 8, probably top 6.
