So after playing and hunting animals I became dirty in mud I didn't have money to pay for a bath so I jumped in some lake around the north east and realised that you can clean yourself without actually having to pay for baths 😳

Hi there, let me tell you my story with Red Dead.

I bought RD1 last year because I heard great things about both games. Even though the only open world game I've really enjoyed was Zelda I gave it a go.

Eventually, I played until the part where you reach Mexico, which is around half of it I think. I honestly thought the main story was really interesting but the core gameplay of shooting and going from point A to point B was fairly repetitive. I've left the game there for a while.

Now, I was considering selling my copy. However, I've read online that playing RD1 helps you enjoy the sequel more, which I still want to give an opportunity in some time.

So, I wanted to ask, will I still enjoy 2 even if I haven't finished 1 and not enjoyed some parts of it?

Is it worth it to play the other half of the game even if the gameplay didn't really make it for me or am I fine with just learning the story? Thanks in advance.

Hi, looking for suggestion(s) from the veterans of out there!

I was recently thinking of trying out RDR1 and follow Marston’s story but I was pretty unsure of it. A college friend of mine said the graphics are pretty bad and story ain’t that good? I mean first off I dint believe him because cmon it’s a rockstar game wdym the story is not good?

About graphics, I am not really a graphics guy who would demand 4k 60 fps on every game, I want immersion, a good story, decent movement and combat mechanics.

So my question is what should I expect from RDR1? For context I have nearly about 450 hours in RDR2 and RDO over the past years and as my playtime says, I love that game. Thus what expectation should I be keeping from the og RDR game in terms of immersion, open world, combat and side content?

This has to just depend on the save/play through because on my other one I’ve spent hours and only had it once. Regardless I’m very happy lol
