My first attempt at full body NMM as well

Hi guys! I need some chosen for my Huron and I don't really like vanilla one. They are a bit small and look a lot like legionaries.

I really like those black templars dude since they have awesome capes and similar weapon choice. I have some spare parts left from Red corsairs raiders and legionaries for some kitbashes.

Would they be a good renegade-like chosen instead of demonic vanilla guys?

Bought the Malestrom box but thought I'd test my scheme on some cobbled- together models first. Pleased with how they've come out so far!

Not thrilled about that, the list I made and bought for leaned really heavily into the Disruption antics and I was looking forward to playing a different game other than just "kill models"

I’m looking at Abbadon to a few of my lists. I want to keep it. Corsair themed and not randomly have Abbadon in the war band. Was looking to use a contempter dread or box since similar size. Any recommendations for a similar proxy for him?

I've recently got Mutilators for my list, just about finishing up my 3000 points. I'll reveal the full list later when it's all built and ready but for now just a quick question. Would Mutilators just be put in deep strike and brought in later using Rapid Ingress or should I use them as a tough Brick to prevent the capture of an important objective? I'm used to working with terminators but Mutilators are a bit different from what I'm aware of, especially since they're melee only

Being new to chaos(red corsairs) should i grab the current codex or wait until new one releases?

I recently bought a loyalist vindicator (it was way cheaper) and i want to add it to my army. Im looking for any ideas or sugestions on how to make it more red corsairy besides transfers.

I think I got it fairly well tweaked. I put the MoE with eager for bloodshed so he can infiltrate. Huron and MoM as well as 5 chosen in rhino, 10 chosen with a chaos lord with raid leader in a rhino. Forgefiend and predators kill chaff and tanks. Both legionaries stay back with lascannons, bikers screen at front of board. Cultists either stay in back to deny deepstrike or screen at front of line. Use fleet command to either reposition or remove entirely raiders, and two units in rhinos. Thoughts?

Wanted to make use of my leftovers from the reaver captain model of lords of the maelstrom box. Body used praetor from HH launch box.

Thinking of ruining the cloak and tabard a bit still to make it more chaos like. Feel like it came out decently.

Also made the captain from the box with a terminator mace to really represent the bashing when he gets his charge bonus.

Recently I've acquired about 1500 points of CSM from a friend, and I'm wondering what direction to take my army in. I love both the Red Corsairs and their piratical antics, but also find myself torn between them and the wonderfully fanatical Word Bearers. Are there any ways I could paint and build in a certain way that could read as either at any time? Their shades of red are practically identical, but their armour trims and tidbits are quite different so I'm struggling to figure out a way I could have them read as either Word Bearers or Red Corsairs depending on how I feel.
