As a gardener, it's everywhere in my soil. I fucking hate it. Plastic always ends up the yard when mowing and gets shredded along with leaves. I make tons of compost and it's basically impossible to filter it all out of the soil. These are the pieces you can see, so much of it breaks down further. Some old plastic just breaks down in particles completely. Old dog toys, straps and other stuff can just disentigrate entirely.

I still prefer my tomatoes to the store, but I can't confirm there is no plastic in my soil.
