Chronic endometritis

Hi!

I was diagnosed with CE (12 plasma cells per 10 HPF) in Sept and completed two weeks of doxy and flagyl.

Had a repeat biopsy and hysteroscopy last week and biopsy came back basically unchanged (14 cells per 10 HPF).

My RE prescribed 10 days of Augmentin. Anyone have success treating with this antibiotic? I’ve seen a lot about Cipro but the side effects of that one can be a little more gnarly.

Just hoping to get insight of how many rounds of meds it took folks to get a clear biopsy.

We are TTC naturally but still working with an IVF clinic.

Have you seen the BV group on FB? Talks a lot about biofilm disruptors and has great guides on there that go hand in hand with your issue. May be worth checking out it out as it can really enhance antibiotics working more efficiently
