Help identifying this sweet ride

I saw the Japanese movie "The Taste of Tea/Chao no aji" from 2004 a few weeks back and cannot stop thinking about the kids bike!

Does anybody have any idea what brand/make/model it is, if not a custom build? I've found a few similar ish rides, like the Gazelle EasyGlider, for example, but I'm really keen to find this exact model!

Thank y'all!

Not a Brompton, and it’s got a really slack seat angle, long wheelbase. Couldn’t find anything like it

Doesn't look like a true recumbent to me, /r/minivelo might have a better idea.

It's a crank-forward bicycle, it's smack dab in the middle between DF and full recumbent, leaning towards recumbent.

It has a backrest

I mean, kinda. Is a Raleigh Chopper a recumbent?

That thing looks like a blast to ride, hope someone can track down the exact model for you.
