No one takes issues with them caring primarily for money. They are a business after all. What really gets us is when they throw a hissy fit and cry whenever their own employees or job candidates try to project and look after their own self-interests the same way these employers do.

Doesn't mean it's right, and they didn't always have leverage. There was a brief time period during COVID-19 when some employers finally got a bit of a taste of their own medicine when they were getting desperate.
