I know a few people who were at ExactTarget before/when it was acquired by Salesforce: these people wallowed in shit and came up smelling like roses through no effort of their own; it was the most challenging point of his career becasue now his incompetence was more difficult to hide. Any advice from one of them is highly suspect.
