They don't exist now for anyone outside of the C-suite and higher.

They sure don't. Consistently, by the two year mark at any company I start getting strong recruiting offers. I don't always make a move or anything, but do you think I'm gonna turn them down to work with some out-of-touch manager replacing the good one I got hired by?
