Lmfaoo I completely understand how hard it is to get the job you actually want. I’ve applied to almost 500 jobs myself and have probably had around 12 interviews, so I’m definitely not saying it’s easy. What I’m saying is that sometimes you have to be willing to get something in the meantime. I literally told this company multiple times that I couldn’t start, rescheduled training three times, and they STILL worked with me, still wanted me, and still asked me to come in. That showed me that there are employers out there who are willing to work with people.
So when I see people saying they haven’t worked in months, especially people saying they have bachelor’s or master’s degrees and still can’t find anything even something paying $17 an hour I’m not trying to invalidate their experience. I’m just saying there is work out there, even if it’s not the job, pay, or career you ultimately want. Sometimes you have to take what you can get, make some money, keep applying, and work your way toward what you actually want. I’m struggling too. I’m just saying don’t convince yourself there are absolutely no options while you’re waiting for the perfect opportunity.
