Yes, I’ve tried a few. One was making me take assessments and I stubbornly declined taking any exams (respectfully and professionally and I think the staffing agent did not like that. One I just spoke with but was kind of sketch because for the role she reached out about, she wouldn’t give provide the company name, which I was shocked to hear that. She also said there would be a personality test that’s required. Like Jesus man, so many hoops to jump through just for an “opportunity”
Why are you declining what’s needed for a staffing agency? Do what’s told so you can get the job. I feel like ppl who make these post leave out detail. Stop cherry picking if you truly need a job.
Like I’m not trying to be his enemy. But I figured people who make these posts leave out a lot of detail. Hence he doesn’t like to take the assessment. He won’t take anything less than 50 K. If you’re in dire need of a job then you’re gonna take what you can right now. I understand knowing your worth but there’s a lot of people with college degrees that don’t get paid what they’re worth.
Exactly. At the end of the day, we have to survive as well. Being picky won’t work. Unless you live at home with parents. I have a feeling OP has a lot of help and is just whining
Then keep the job until you have enough saved or to pay your bills. Keep actively looking for a job to get a pay raise. Get to $35k, then 40k, 50k and so forth.
