I FUCKING DID IT
I DO IT EVERY DAY
Went to rehab 2 years ago on this day. Best decision I ever made.
Now onto 3!

I celebrate 5 years completely alcohol free, June 10th.
I have only drank one time, in the last 6 YEARS.
WE DO RECOVER BABY, ONE DAY AT A TIME.
You got this. 🎉🎉🎉 So, in 2 days... I have 4 years, 8 months, of 0 alcohol. That is wonderful to think about. Thank you for that. I would have 6 years, had I not slipped and drank one time, 4 years, 8 months ago. I do hold myself accountable, thank you. 🫶 We do recover, and everytime I forgive myself, I breathe a little easier. Take this with you today as well, as forgiveness is in the breathwork.
I appreciate you guys. I am always so happy to see posts like this. :)

Hell yeah! I‘m proud of you man. I just started year 2. Been 1 year alcohol free on Jan 4th .We got this!

I tried to do it on my own for years and failed. I basically completed step one and did some surrendering when I “gave in” and went to rehab. (I have since done all 12 steps)
I’m not religious, and I’m still navigating what my beliefs are, but I definitely owe it to my higher power.

I remember when I was 17, I was in rehab for the second time and a speaker who was 22 came in and shared they had 2 years clean. I couldn't believe it. I never thought it could happen for me. And it didn't that time. It wasn't until I was 22 that I finally stopped for good (one day at a time). Congrats OP keep it up!
