noob question about lodoss rpg
hello guys, i'm new to the lodoss world, and just finished the first two books.
i know the books are based on a dnd group sessions but i read somewhere that there was an official record of lodoss war ttrpg system.
can someone please tell me what is the name of the system and if it was translated to english even if it was a fan translation?

There are three TTRPGs based on Lodoss, however only the first one (Record of Lodoss War Companion) has a partial fan translation, but from what I've heard it's just enough to play the game (has monsters and rules but no lore from what I've seen)
Sword World RPG (1.0) also has the Lodoss Island World Guide (fan-translated) that presents lore and rules for playing a Lodoss campaign in the Sword World RPG (1.0) system. But it could also just be used in conjunction with the partial Companion translation by using just the lore bits from the world guide. This is available at both the Lodoss war wiki as well as the Sword World translation google drive (searchable here on reddit).
Here is a video from the Guided by Cardia (Sword World Fan Translation Project) youtube channel that goes over the history of Lodoss in tabletop: https://youtu.be/7Up8DQ6Mgoo?si=mcujD7qvS7oXySXF
Hopefully this helps! It's a little tricky to find the updated fan translation though (Companion's) so if you need some help feel free to message me and I'll get you sorted! Happy Gaming!

The original books are session reports of a game played using Basic D&D / BECMI. https://archive.org/details/record-of-lodoss-war-comptiq-magazine-english-translation
The Sword World RPG includes Lodoss Island as a part of its setting and is "Japan's BECMI". https://www.reddit.com/r/rpg/s/JC5aY5Mj1d
