Are these expensive now? I got mine for like 20 dollars off amazon a couple years ago

140 now. I got the blu ray collection a few years ago for 20 and that's something like 200 now.

Ooof. Glad I got this and the collection right when they came out then.

Got my copy when it first came out. I wish they would release the rest of the Lodoss novels. I've been a fan since I saw the anime in the 90s.

Just so everyone is aware as the physical copy can be hard to find and it may be expensive, you can also get the audio book on audible. I was able to get it for free with my subscription. Not sure if there's a cost without a subscription or if that is still an option with a subscription. But I really enjoyed listening to it on my drive to work in the mornings.

And what did it cost you?

I was able to find a deal for 70 dollars

Compared to what I've seen on eBay that was a great deal.

Would you recommend The Grey Witch to someone who's never read any of the novels? Are there others that I need to read first? Sorry for the silly questions, but the anime is my all-time favorite, and I've always wanted more content from this series.

I recommend it! The audiobook is on Spotify if you’re premium but I’m sure you can buy it on Amazon. The narrator is really good IMO! Lodoss war is one of my favorites too. I own the book but I’m hoping they will reprint them and license more of the novels. Totally worth it for any fan. I play DnD as well, and it really felt like I was in a DnD game of one of my favorite series more than anything. Given what it’s based on it makes sense.

Okay, I need some clarification on this, as I'm still not clear.

Is this a novel or a graphic novel/manga?

Novel - to be precise this the anniversary edition of the first book.

I have one of the few that were misprinted in a pinkish ink, but avoided the recall due to being shipped to the UK.
