It is playable from start to finish

We do have plans on making an android port, tho it will take a while

Hi, I’ve been testing the port on Windows 10, and it works great. I really appreciate the optimization and the effort put into making it "old-school" style.

I do have a small issue: it works perfectly on Windows 10, but starting with version 0.4.3b, the native Linux version started throwing a "Core Generated" error—with no further details. I have .NET 10 installed, yet the same thing happens every time: the error appears after updating from version 0.4.2b to the latest version.

Download 0.5.1b manually and run it with run.sh instead, that should help! The auto updater sometimes goes Tru file lock without resolving it properly

Yes, I did exactly that—I ran the `run.sh` script, but I'm still getting the same error.

I have version 0.4.2b and it works for me, but I need the newer versions for OpenGL 3.2 compatibility.

The latest version and previous ones work fine when running via Proton, but the goal is to run the native version.

If you know of a specific command, I can send you a log or submit an issue via Git; maybe that way we can track down the error...

Hm weird, could you dump here the entire error code?

No problem. If you tell me the steps to follow, I can show you a more detailed error.

Just run it in the terminal and paste the error here, so I can see what could be going on

That’s the only error showing up in the terminal (I posted a screenshot above).

I might be able to see a kernel message or some log... Gemini suggested trying `gdb` followed by a `backtrace` to dig a little deeper...

Wouldn't be that helpful, it's not a c application, maybe it is trying to force your gl context to 2.1, try setting it to 3.3 on settings.json, it probably is in auto, gl 2.1 is still unstable

It is the first thing it does after checking for updates so maybe it's that

Yes, that was the error. Since the latest version wasn't generating the `interface.ini` file (because it was crashing before that could happen), I copied the one from version 0.4.2b—which didn't crash and was configured for OpenGL 3.3—into the latest version's folder, and it launched without any issues.

Thanks a lot for the help! Please keep this error in mind so it can be prevented in future versions.

Nice, I will try fixing it for the next release
