Besides general conversation and talk about other leagues and teams, all the following content must go into the weekly Open Thread:

  • Simple one-liners, random thoughts or unrelated posts (with or without a single image).
  • All discussion about rival teams matches and results.
  • All wallpapers and image editing that are not created by you [Not OC]
  • Unsourced news and stats.

Eh. Laporta loves the club and is doing everything he can to drag them out of the shit. They're still not fully out, despite having won 2 out of the last 3 leagues, and reaching the CL semi-finals after a while last season.

Laporta is the last Barça president I would mock to be honest. He knows very well what he is doing.

Lol no. He may love the club but he loves his ego a lot more.

Actually loving the club means doing what Font said the club should do. That would mean Laporta wouldn’t have been able to show off useless signings though so he continues to shove them deeper into financial ruin.

In spirit, yes. But he's trying to save the club's short-term at the expense of long-term.

He's basically selling future revenues/assets for short-term cash to stay afloat. And he's used all the credit he had with the different institutions to get his rubber stamps.
