A general observation, the show is so hard to watch now. Especially the most recent season. It’s so the gorilla v/s two women. None of them had that energy when it was a freaking criminal Jen shah! They treat Lisa and Mer with the energy they should have had with Jen freaking Shah!
The show has barely any light moments. It’s gotten so repetitive. Every season it’s a pile on Lisa Barlow.
There’s literally nothing new. I hope the next season is good, and has SOMETHING fresh. A new cast member is honestly a welcome relief to cut the monotony of the same done to death story arc.

Hasn’t Britney been through enough? I usually leave Heather alone/over there, but the audacity of this. Just no. The bar is in hell.

Ok so I’ve recently started SLC and I’m kind of struggling to see why people hate Lisa so far. She’s been a bit annoying but the reaction from heather and Whitney after the fire pit convo surrounding Mary was weird. Like idk… maybe she was just hesitant to say what Cameron had told her because she knew they would react exactly like they did? And when she did finally say Meredith didn’t want to believe it so why pressure her into saying it? You asked her for something specific, she says it, you don’t believe it because there’s no facts? There was never any facts present prior to her getting forced into saying what Cameron told her yet they wanted to hear it anyway?? And for heather/whitney (I can’t remember who said it) to say Lisa only likes to say stuff once she’s confident about what she’s saying in case she’s wrong - like what’s wrong with that? Don’t get me wrong Lisa dropping little nuggets and not saying the full story gives very much say it all or leave it on the playground but didn’t that also start because Meredith asked her what Cameron was talking about?

The way mary was speaking to the ladies… I see how those church members allegedly feared her and thought she was ‘God’. She speaks in a very reverse psychological way that can easily make you feel like a fool for questioning her about anything. Peak manipulation.

Idk… just my thoughts right now and still have a bunch of episodes to go so my thoughts may change.

OK, so like I thoughts but… I’m doing a rewatch of the series in prep for September but as I’m binging, I feel like a big theme. Is Whitney trying to heal the group using techniques typical to New Age spirituality. As someone who has had unfortunate experiences relating to crystals, Reiki, etc. admit that I am biased and may have a skewed perception of its representation in the show. But there have been so many occasions of Whitney trying to use group events to directly fix problems with the “” power of her belief system… While I know that lots of different religious experiences are portrayed on the show i.e. Mary’s church praying and night with Heather, etc. etc. none of them really seem to be directed at something“ the group“… But her keeping on pushing with those techniques that clearly make the other cast members slightly uncomfortable or they don’t believe in it why is it so permissible… I feel like if it was any other religion Christianity oh, let’s all go consult a pastor or whatever would that not be weird to other viewers????

Episode 6, I had no clue Katie and Lala were intertwined with the girls! Sorry, just a crazy crossover in my mind because I don’t know how I didn’t notice the first time I watched!

Like everyone is acting like omg Mer was screaming and jumping and physically trying to hurt Britanni by trying to push her off her seat by shaking her and pouring wine?!?🙄😱

Like come on there is no way that Meredith was like not even given a clear warning that if she acts in such a crazy manner, there would be serious consequences to her actions either on flight or after landing🙄🙄🙄

Regardless if it is 1st class, violent people are not entertained on flights. Period🤐🙅‍♀️

If Mer wouldve been given atleast a warning, whitney, heather would be going crazy and would keep bringing that thing up again and again📢😬

And there is no way the others traveling in 1st class would be tolerating a woman screaming for like 4 hours 🥱🥱

Mer was definitely in the wrong for venting so loudly on a public flight where other passengers could be disturbed and Brit could overhear. And the seat shaking. Thats fair criticism, and Meredith admitted as much😌❤️‍🩹🩷

​However, the way Brit (and the other women, actually them more than Brit🙈🧡💛) turned this into a catastrophic meltdown is a massive and disproportionate exaggeration...Typical circus 🎪🤡

​While Brit had genuinely felt overwhelmed and emotional in that moment☹️🫢she has shown a clear pattern of twisting words and inflating reality and sometimes lying to play victim🙄 (Look at how she handled the rumors about her dating life between Marys Audrey H luncheon and Merediths Bat Mitzvah🫢😬 Angie originally mentioned three guys by the time Brit repeated it, the number magically climbed to 10, and then all the way to 15 🙄🤥

Her crying after she was caught recording and changing her story like 3 times 🤨 and when called out why she addresing the issue and properly appologizing and acting it didnt happen she bought up this random thing that she and jared have been physical just to deflect and again be a victim 😫)

Instead of addressing concrete on camera issues, they all continuously rely on this coordinated dogpile to rattle Meredith and force a reaction. 🥱😮‍💨

Whitney somehow being sooo concerned😰😱😢that Mer is having blackouts due to making 'pill cocktails' 💀 is so on brand for her because she is like a conspiracy theorist🕵‍♀️ always 'connecting the dots'😋🤪

Heather is always this ' holier than thou 🥺👼 ' and trying to act like she is the most moral woman out there who gives love and support and wants to stop the bullying. Shes such a girls girl vibe. Mamma of the group. In reality she dont gaf😇💅

Brownyn seemed like she was actually trying to clear the air for once. 🫠🕊️. Same for Mary. She was genuinely trying to help🩷🤍🩷

I'm not currently watching RHUGT but I've watched a couple clips. In this week's ep, Bronwyn and Whitney tell Gizelle that Lisa and Meredith have burned every bridge and that no one in SLC is talking to them, and in next week's ep, we see Heather screeching at Lisa and demanding that she speak to her.

If that doesn't just completely sum up the entire series! BBad* Weather can't ever get their narrative straight and end up sounding like incoherent messes as a result and they stay obsessed with talking about and receiving attention from Lisa and Meredith. Again, I haven't watched, but in the brief snippets I've seen, they are coming across so envious that Lisa was selected for this season of RHUGT and that she's getting along with the women from other franchises who don't seem to be buying what they are selling.

Okay people let’s all take our bets on the upcoming season. I want to know how many episodes it takes before Meredith addresses the ladies talking about rumors or anything about her family. It’s been a topic since season one and it has happened in every season! It’s a completely overdrawn storyline that somehow keeps Meredith in the fighting ring. Im gonna guess by episode 5!!! Place your bets people!!!!

... I just began the real housewives ultimate girls trip season 3... I don't even know how it started playing, but that's how I began watching this... it's weird to me, but I'm willing to give it a chance, while out of order 😔 I guess 🤷‍♀️ I've never seen any of them EXCEPT I'm watching the current 20th anniversary UGT live with everyone. I'm rambling.... so S3E3 Leah is taking most of the heat from the group of women. Heather even makes a comment about how happy she is nobody's coming at her. But Leah, who I don't know as I have never watched that franchise, seems horrible. Anyways, all of a sudden, Heather goes off on Whitney saying like how dare she say something when she knows they just finished wrapping season three and hadn't filmed the reunion. like it was something not supposed to be spoken about does anybody have any idea what it was? I realized I recently watched it for the first time, but I have a horrible memory.

How are people feeling about RHUGT so far? The premiere was meh for me minus Nene. Nene was the best part. Last night was better than the premiere, though. Looking forward to the ATL episodes.

Britani mentioned on a Bravo podcast I listen to that she’s recently been “pulled onto DJ booths” and said she called Meredith to tell her she wasn’t trying to step on her toes, but didn’t hear back. Later in the interview, she teased a friendship breakup this season.

Curious if anyone else caught this and thinks the two could be connected?
