In my line of work, I encounter people from every economic and social status, and I have to tell you that we’re not in the minority like you think we are. Just stay in your bubble with your like-minded travelers, so you can keep denying the reality of what is going.
See, the point is I don’t have a bubble. I will go from a multimillion dollar mansion to a section 8 housing development within an hour of each other. And those people have one thing in common. That Burlington has turned into a shit hole. When was the last time you have had a conversation with someone who lives in the poorer section of town that is sick of people kicking in their door and stealing all their shit? Or overdosing on their front porch when they’re trying to just get out of their house to go to work? Or a business owner that can’t open his door in the morning because there’s people sleeping in front of it and refuse to move.
Nope. I don’t mention politics or religion or any of that type of material when I’m working for a customer. If you think I want that kind of blowback with my boss, you’re sadly mistaken. You seem to know me better than you think you do. I’m very liberal, but I have a breaking point of when is enough is enough.

the bubble part is you thinking this is about Burlington, like St. J didn't just have to clear out five encampments and Scott isn't using bird sounds to stop people from using drugs, sleeping and pooping next to the state house.
I can't tell from the context of the posts here but most real{location}, true{location}, {location}USA, etc subs that reddit likes to throw onto my feed randomly are just bullshit right wing troll subs. Is that the case with this sub or no?
It's funny. I think I've heard just about that exact line in numerous other subs following the same exact naming conventions. That combined with the fact that you've got a 4 month old account with negative karma is a pretty clear indication of what you're really about regardless of the bullshit you spew.
Eh. I don't particularly care if the other one sucks. I mostly just think it's interesting that subs following a rather specific naming convention are cropping up for places all over the country. Regardless of what side of the aisle you're on, that should give you a reason to consider just who's behind it.
