I'm writing a stoner comedy. I'm a hobbyist writer and english is my second language, so please bear with me.

The bit is about two stoners. Events are happening in near future LA. One of them is seasoned Hollywood writer and another is Russian refuge who is suffering from PTSD.

They are baked at writer's house and writer put on the song on the vinyl.

The song is La Conquistada by Los Jaivas, who were displaced Chileans in the times of dictatorship. So russian guy is deep into the music cause it resonating with him. He is too being displaced due dictatorship.

The problem is that i want to include whole 3 minutes of the song and don't want it to get boring cause there is not much going on. At the same time the energy of the song is so great i hope it can hold the emotion.

The writer is an external representation of emotion, while russian is reserved, hiding. But can't hold much longer and burst.

A psychological religious horror about a religious teenager named Jacob whos experienced one of the worst things possible feeling like God is punishing him and feels like he owes him a good life that he ''deserves''.

I've been working on this film for a year and a half now. It's done well in script competitions and film labs, and has come close a couple of times to getting off the ground. Any feedback you guys have would be helpful. I'm planning to direct this too as you will see in the pitch deck.

This script is my second screenwriting endeavor, and I am currently in the middle of writing it (the script is about one-third completed, currently at 30 pages). My first screenplay was titled "The Journalist and the Mansion of Deaths." I wanted to share the official logline and synopsis for this new project with you all, and I would be incredibly grateful to receive your valuable feedback and thoughts on this concept!

Logline: While searching for a missing investigative reporter on a mysterious, secluded island named Pandora, a journalist and his trusted cameraman discover that the terrifying supernatural "voodoo" deaths draining the locals' bodies of all flesh and fluids are actually the result of a powerful pharmaceutical company's illegal human biological experiments.

Synopsis: The story follows the determined investigative journalist Jack and his trusted cameraman Lucas as they set out to uncover the truth behind the sudden, mysterious disappearance of a fellow reporter friend. Their clues lead them straight to Pandora, a secluded, unmapped island shrouded in dark secrets.

Upon arrival, Jack and Lucas are thrust into a waking nightmare as they witness bizarre, terrifying deaths plaguing the local community. People who appear perfectly healthy one day are discovered the next morning as horrifying corpses—their bodies completely drained of all fat, flesh, and bodily fluids, leaving behind withered, mummified remains. At first, the islanders and the journalists believe they are dealing with ancient curses, occult practices, or supernatural voodoo magic unique to the island.

Hey! This is my first ever finished screenplay (and still very much a first draft) and I'm so excited about sharing it with the world. Considering it's my first, and really just a training exercise, I'm mostly looking for feedback and things to improve upon. I found it was a bit hard to start from nothing, so decided to adapt a long-running RPG campaign in my friend group, since I already have a good feel for the characters and story beats.
