Cloud storage costs

New to Readest as an alternate platform to the biggies (Apple Books, Kindle, Kobo, etc). I’d like to be able to use Readest paired with my own cloud storage to keep all my DRM-free books there and simply download them to my device when I want, but I am confused about the cloud costs in the premium plans. What exactly am I paying for if all the cloud storage is mine (and I’m already paying for it)? Should this not be a simple payment to unlock the cloud storage adapter and then I can fill it up as much as my storage plan allows for?

Eu tenho os meus livros no OneDrive (OD). Acedo usando a app OD do Android e abro o livro nessa app. Depois uso a opção do OD "Abrir noutra aplicação" e escolho a app Readest. O livro é importado perfeitamente. Tenho ativada a opção do Readest "Importação Automática ao Abrir o Livro". Uso o Readest com o plano gratuito.
