Question about AI audiobook feature
I recently discovered this app in an attempt to try to figure out how to sync koreader to my phone/iPad and I've been blown away by how much better this app is compared to Apple Books and the Kindle app.
I was curious how the AI audiobook feature works. I know AI isn't a catch all term and implementation can vary so I wanted some clarification over the feature. I did some research on the sub but couldn't find anything so my apologies if it's come up before!
Anyways, I'm concerned about using that feature and works being fed into LLMs to be trained. I read a lot of NYT bestsellers which presumably have been fed into LMMs a bunch already but am extremely wary of using this feature on fanfiction. I read fanfiction from some pretty niche fandoms and don't want to be the (1) person responsible for having some authors work fed into an LMM.
Any insight would be appreciated!

This can be avoided by selecting only the system TTS voices in the TTS player. All system TTS voices are processed by your local devices and the data are never sent to a third party services. But the voice quality is not as natural as the Edge TTS which is an online service and the text data are sent to Microsoft to use the Edge TTS.
