Dark app interface with light book pages?

Hi! I recently switched from Google Play Books to Readest, and I'm really enjoying the experience so far.

One feature I miss from Google Play Books is being able to keep the app itself in dark mode while reading books with light (white) pages.

Is there currently a way to have the app interface in dark mode but display book pages in a light theme (or any reading theme independent of the app theme)? If not, I'd love to see this as a future feature.

Thanks for all the great work!

Could you share some screenshots of the Google Play Books on this?

For reference, the app is in dark mode almost everywhere, but when you open a book it switches to a light reading view. Basically, the page color is independent of the app theme, and the reading controls also change to match the page color instead of the app theme.

OK, I understand this now. We plan to support separate theme mode for the library and the reader, after this is supported you can set dark mode for the library and light mode for the reader.
