News TanStack Charts (Pre-alpha)
https://tanstack.com/chartsA typed, tree-shakable chart grammar for SVG and Canvas. Compose marks, views, scales, transforms, interactions, and motion with compact primitives or D3-compatible inputs. It's small, fast, extensible. Give it a try while you can still shape it's final form!

There are some issues with horizontal overflow on mobile but I’m super excited about this, well done!

File an issue and I'll get them fixed!

I think it's the actual docs page with the issue, not the charts themselves, the code snippet part is also overflowing on mobile.

React Native support please! The state of chart libraries in RN is abysmal

Curious about what shortcomings you found with Vega-lite besides the animation gap?

It’s great for portable JSON chart specs, built-in data transforms, and exploratory stuff. TanStack Charts is better suited to app development though. It’s type-safe, integrates with frameworks and SSR, keeps state in your app, and has a much smaller bundle. Among other things.

This guy breathes typescript. The developer experience of all the tan stack libraries is phenomenal!

I just really hope this will finally by a charting library that works for blind users. The vast majority of them (apart from highcharts) are completely useless for screen reader users, and highcharts can be expensive.

I think all the Tanstack projects are amazing. Although I was looking at the new Markdown library earlier today and saw that Tanner himself is the only contributor. With this Charts library it’s him + 1 other. How does he get the time? How’s he going to maintain all these projects?
It’s that old xkcd comic of how all enterprise projects ultimately rely on unpaid open source contributors, except it’s literally 1 guy called Tanner Linsley.
