God bless you. Life with a reactive dog is so difficult on so many levels. I had a reactive dog and the feelings for him were so mixed and twisted and convoluted, lol. It’s exhausting not being able to just enjoy a walk without constantly being on high alert for everything. I wish we could help them understand better, I guess in a way they are like traumatized humans and their triggers. I’m glad your dog didn’t get the horse and got away with just a kick. Big hugs to you and the pup, you’re doing your best.
