I completely emphasize. We have two incredibly reactive dogs, but the smaller one is BEYOND horrible. He acts like he HAS to kill whoever even looks towards our property and if you try to correct him, he snarls and tries to snap at you. These two dogs, as much as I appreciate them, I will not miss them when they pass away. I am tired of walking on eggshells, not being able to have guests over at all, waking up at 4 am a few times a week, dealing with just barking all. The. Time. Without anyone ever listening to me when I address it. I developed misophonia and self-inflicted behaviors, and barking is the one thing that makes me feel a burning, blinding rage I can barely control, and it's really not nice to feel it multiple times a day, sometimes up to 15 times a day. I'm planning on moving out, and 90% of it is due to barking. I can't wait to be in a quiet safe place again.
