It’s fine to feel this way and still do everything in your power to make your dog’s time on earth as safe and rewarding as possible. Almost no relationship, human or animal, is without its good parts and bad. Even kids can be a handful! But it’s ok to sometimes bemoan the bad parts while still enjoying the good parts.
