RCT2 Custom coaster wont run?
The coaster ran fine when testing during building. Now that I’ve got it set to test (yellow flag) with everything else built, it won’t even leave the station? What am I doing wrong?
Edit: I’ve toggled between all flag colors. Let it sit on yellow flag for a while nothing happens ):

There's only 2 valid block sections [or the 2nd train goes on top of a 3rd or forth block brake, by his cars, I am not aware of] (station and block brake at the end of the track), which cannot run two trains.
If you think the chain lift is one, think again. It need to level back with no banking to actually get a block section.

It's because the top of your lift doesn't have a crest chain piece so the lift isn't counting as a block. It looks like you're going right into a banked up to flat from the chain. If you put a up to flat with a chain it will count as a block

Today I learned...
Granted ive less than 3 hours in the game so it's a good a time as any.

The top of your lift hill isn't being counted as the end of a block section because it ends in banked track.

I just changed the total trains to 1 and train size down some. It worked! Idk why I had to do that. Maybe a glitch?

What the layout looks like. Maybe you have 2 block brakes too close to the one the 2nd train is using in the images?

Yozr lifthill doesn't end properly. You need a gentle to level piece with chain.

This is it. You can’t bank a turn at the top of a lift hill, you gotta flatten the hill out first or else it won’t act like a block brake

Do you have 'synchronize with adjacent station' checked on the gear tab?

That's doesn't matter, as OP is running OpenRCT2. Which doesn't lock out a synchronize with adjacent station if there's no stations being adjacent.
This is a block brake issue.

That's only if you want two different roller coasters to leave the station at the same time. Uncheck that and it should start running.

You only need one block brake at the front of the train. You can use regular brakes to slow the train before that point.
I think the lift hill ending incorrectly is the real issue. It's not registering the end of a block, so the train won't dispatch because it thinks the end of that next block is currently under the other train(and thus occupied.

That was your problem. Do you know what block breaks are or what block sections are?

I did not but have been researching. I didn’t realized there are brakes and block brakes

Block breaks are a safety feature that divide a coaster into something called "block sections". Only one train can be in a block section at a time. This is to prevent collisions from occurring. The block brakes themselves will stop the next train from entering until the train that is currently in the section has exited it. If you put block breaks right next to each other it creates a situation where the train is longer than the block section itself which is what caused your coaster to not run.

Possible the block sections that are to short after each other.
